Had an interesting day today. Had jury duty, got there at 8 AM. Sat all morning long, didn’t get picked until just before lunch. Met Steph for lunch then went back and waited to go to the court room. About an hour later they came in and told us that that jury selection had been canceled and everyone that was in that group could go home for the day. (Still have to go back tomorrow )
Figured that since I was at Kent Station and had some time I would go catch a movie. Went to see “Daybreakers” (wasn’t bad) since I don’t get to see movies like that with Steph or the boys. So while I was putting butter on my popcorn this older lady came up with her grand children. (3 girls maybe 4 – 10 years old) They were standing there trying to figure out what to get, so since I was having a nice day I decided what the heck and told the concession lady that I would like to pay for their snacks. It wasn’t very much money but it was so much fun to see those girls faces and it was nice to do something nice like that. (I think they were going to see the Chipmunks Squeekwel) The concessionaire thought it was so nice she upgraded my order for free. (which was also cool of her) Anyway I went to see the movie… was one of only three or four people in the theater, which is a very nice way to see a movie. (but I think the couple behind me were making out)
